We at Berlaine Enterprises, LLC, dba Grandma Dot ("Grandma Dot") respect your privacy. The purpose of this statement is to inform you about how we intend to use any information you provide us via this site.

Grandma Dot takes what it believes to be reasonable precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, and implements reasonable procedures to ensure that personal information is kept and used only for the purposes for which it has been gathered.

Information collected includes information provided via and during the course of on-line product ordering, and e-mail messages concerning product inquiries, general questions, comments and suggestions.  Our on-line store is operated by software pursuant to a license from osCommerce and it may automatically store “cookies” on your computer.  We do not access any information “automatically” obtained by the osCommerce on-line store software.  We obviously do access the information you provide in the course of ordering.

Information gathered is used by Grandma Dot for responding to your inquiries, processing and fulfilling your orders, for in-house marketing and product development purposes, and for contacting and assisting customers and potential customers in their use and inquiries concerning Grandma Dot products and services. Mailing lists are not sold or distributed to third parties, except that third parties under contract to provide services to assist Grandma Dot in its efforts from time to time, if any, may have access to information as needed to provide the services contracted for. If third parties have any such access, Grandma Dot makes reasonable commercial efforts to obtain agreement to terms which will continue to protect and respect your privacy.   Similarly, in the event Grandma Dot or its business is sold, we reserve the right to transfer customer information as part of the goodwill of the business, upon reasonable terms that continue to respect your privacy.

We reserve the right to amend all or any portion(s) of these terms at any time, although any changes will not materially alter our pledge to protect your privacy.
